If you took the Volkl 100Eight and gave it a bigger sweet spot you’d have the Salomon QST 106. Bigger sweet spot makes those days you had a few too many shots of Whiskey the night before a lot easier, it’s also great when your trying to send it down some terrain that’s a little above your pay grade. The full woodcore with a smooth and even flex pattern is what makes the sweet spot so big. The first runs we had on the QST 106 were on a wide open groomer in Big Sky on the way to do some Challenger Laps, the arc-ability is awesome, they grip super well at speed on harder snow – a pleasant surprise. Getting the QST 106’s on to some steep chalk was awesome, the skis feel really well balanced and come around with ease.

TLDR: The Salomon QST 106 is extremely all-mountain friendly for being 106 mm in the waist, they’re super easy to ski.
