Tanner Hall posted on instagram late last night that he was no longer on the Red Bull Freeski team.

Tanner Hall dropped by Red Bull

"After 11 years of hard work for Red Bull and everything I have done and been through the decided to drop me last night. Guess they don't believe in me but it's gonna be bitter sweet proving them wrong. #redbull #movingontobiggerandbetterthings"

There is a lot of speculation as to why Tanner is no longer on the team.  A lot of people think it's because he isn't good enough anymore, he's getting old etc.

Tanner is a business guy and it's obvious he has a good agent.  Tanner wants to be paid.  I'm guessing Tanner's contract was up and he wanted more money than he was getting on his previous deal.  Rightfully so, Tanner's pro model gear sells and people love it.  He has a following and that following is larger than it was when he was winning Gold Medals at the X-Games years ago, that following still continues to grow daily.

Tanner Hall is a big deal and he's unique.  Tanner is more than just an athlete, he's Armada, he's Inspired, he's a brand, he's like a lion.  Tanner is the next generations Glen Plake.  I do think he'll prove Red Bull wrong, that's who he is.
