The 2013 Red Bull Ultra Natural was held at Baldface, British Columbia this week. It brought together 16 of the worlds best snowboarders for a freeride competition that is unrivaled. Snowboarding's living legend (bow motion), Travis Rice, came up with the idea for this event, which helps to gather these world-class riders that are bringing the sport of snowboarding to new level.

The Red Bull Ultra Natural allows you to watch snowboarding in it's purest form. The event takes gnarly terrain, with a combination of natural and man-made features, and lets the best riders showcase their abilities, style and next-level craziness. It's definitely a rare moment, when you get to watch the sport you love progress after every run.

Travis Rice developed an event where talented snowboarders and natural terrain fuse together to produce something truly special. Riders have to look for new lines and string together different features, to construct the sickest most jaw-dropping line they possibly can. The Red Bull Ultra Natural is my personal favorite competition to watch, and it has to be these athletes favorite to participate in. They have full creative control on how they want to attack their line, which brings out each rider's personal style and feature preference.

Awesome event, ridiculous riding and full-throttle next level progression... Travis Rice's Ultra Natural allows snowboarding to reach new heights right before our eyes.
