October Snow: Winter is Coming

There has been some October Snow showing itself across the USA. From Minnesota to Colorado to California, fresh pow has accumulated on ski trails making them look more like January than mid-October. I know the Northeast has a-ways-to-go, but the big mountains of the west are showing signs of an epic winter in the making. I realize it's too early to start claiming that this winter is going to be one for the ages, but seeing my facebook news feed packed with images of fresh snow is a great way to get seriously stoked for what's to come. Here is a collection of pictures showing some of the awesome early season snowfall.
