For as long as I can remember Oakley has played a huge role in extreme sports. This is due in part to the fact that Oakley has been at this whole extreme sports gig for longer than I have been around. I remember my first pair of Oakley Sunglasses, a neon purple pair of hand-me-down Minutes I got about 12 years ago. My 6th grade ego could be seen pouring out of the school bus windows as I went to sit in the back near all the 7th graders with my shades on. This company is constantly raising the bar on comfort, performance and lets not forget, the element of cool, even on school busses.
Unless you've been living under a rock for the past year, you have probably seen some dude somewhere wearing a pair of Oakley Dispatches. Actually Lil Jon probably lifted up that rock you were under just to say HEEEEYYYYYY!!!! That's right, Even the King of Crunk is wearing these bad animals, and lets not forget big mountain skier and half pipe specialist, Tanner Hall, or big wave surfer Bruce Irons. If you still have no idea what a Dispatch is, simply check out Eric's or my own Ski Monster profiles, Oakley's Canary Orange is unmistakable, but that's only one of a hand full of custom frame, stem and lens options Oakley offers. My favorite time to wear my Oakley Dispatches is when I'm out on the boat with the rest of the TSM crew surfing nothing other than my Danielo Pro Carbon.
