iSki App for iPhone

If you have a regular iPod, it may be time to upgrade to an iPod Touch or go for an iPhone, because an extremely sick app is out now!!  I Just put this app on my iPhone, after searching for iPhone ski apps.   This is the coolest app on my phone, I like it more than my tweetdeck or the facebook app which is saying quite a bit, being that those are the most used apps on my phone.  

Paper trail maps are, played out! The trail maps for your favorite ski areas are GPS enabled, so if you're not sure which trail you took or where to go next, you can see exactly where you are on the mountain. 

The coolest part of the GPS enabled trail maps, is it can also tell you where your friends are on the mountain if you've gotten split up. I can't even tell you how often this happens to me when I am skiing with skiers newer to the sport or in a large group.  It's always such a pain trying to link back up or waiting for them at the bottom or top of a lift, especially when it's a powder day and you're trying to get as many good runs in as possible.  iSki can only find friends that have the app on their iPod Touch or iPhone, you can locate up to 5 friends by entering in the their phone numbers into the "Locate Me" feature.  I think i may have to make this app a requirement if you are going skiing with me and we're at an area with multiple peaks or bases.
