3 Buckle Egos

Posted May 27, 2010 @ 3:12am | by George Michaelsen

Dalbello Krypton Pro, Three Buckle Ski BootsThree buckle ski boots have become increasingly popular over the last few years, yet many skiers are reluctant to give them a look because of the lack of buckles.  These skiers somehow associate, that 4th buckle with increased performance, like the 4th buckle has sometime of magical power that enables them to ski better and by losing that buckle, they will forget how to ski. It sounds kinda funny, but seriously there are people that are terrified of losing the pointless buckle by their toes.  The same is not only true for the amount of buckles on a boot, but the way a ski is built.

Many skiers are afraid of change, there have been so many exciting changes that have happened to the products that we use to get down the hill.  Shaped skis are still a new thing to many people, so many skiers haven't even been on shaped skis yet.  Since shaped skis first came out, so many changes have happened, the average waist width has gone from 66mm to 80mm, to a person coming off straight skis, the skis for 2010-2011 look like water skis.  The changes to the products have been made because of what skiers need and demand out on the hill.

Instead of shooting down the amazing products that the manufacturers have built in response to what skiers have asked for or complained about; ask about it, learn about it.  These products were built to make you happier on the hill.
