22/23 Test Day 17: Nordica/Flylow/Sweet Protection

It's no secret that this sport is cold — sometimes too cold. We had one of these days at Sugarloaf in Maine to test out Nordica's new skis. In addition, we also sampled some softgoods products from Flylow and Sweet Protection. With wind chill, we were looking at a crisp -26°F, one of our coldest test days to date. Despite the chill and the wiping wind, the snow and the gear were solid.

Nordica's new Unleashed/Unlimited series performed well and was fun to ski. Flylow continues to blow us away with their superior shells and color scheme (peep that incredible soft pink jacket Devon is rocking). The biggest surprise of the day was our trial run of Sweet Protection — a new brand coming to TSM for the 22/23 season. We'll be bringing in some sturdy helmets that make you feel safe and stylish. Their goggles have a high-quality lens providing good visibility and a comfortable fit. Keep your eye out for these products and more hitting the shelves in the fall.
