22/23 Test Day 11: K2/Jones Outerwear

Conditions started firm for our test day with K2 at Sunapee. By mid-day, the sun came out and softened the trails up, making for a real good time. The variable conditions made for a solid testing opportunity. We spent the day feeling out K2's lineup of snowboards and skis. We also brought more Jones outerwear to the mountain to see how they performed. Their outerwear line has a loose fit and feels lightweight while being made from a sturdy material that's sure to last through your toughest rides. We are very excited to bring them into our shop next season. Neil, a TSM snowboard buyer, put K2's new landscape trio to the test and shared his first impression. 

"The K2 Excavator is a shorter and wider board that was a ton of fun on the side hits but still held up nicely when carving out groomers," Neil said. "The Manifest is a more classic all-mountain board that felt really responsive, confident and predictable. The Passport was easily manageable but could still charge when you needed to, and the shape would likely be a lot of fun in the trees on a softer snow day. All three boards in the new collection were really solid."
