1998, a HUGE year for skiing

For Hip Hop 1988 was huge, for skiing it was 1998.  1998 was a huge year for skiing,  Jonny Mosely did the game changing  '360 Iron Cross with Mute Grab' (what a mouthful, now we just call it a 360, might say 360 mute) in the Men's Moguls at the Nagano Olympics.

Just after that Salomon came out with the game changing 1080 ski.  That was the first really cool looking ski, well at least to me when I was 13 years old.  That trick that Jonny threw in the Olympics and this ski, really made skiing cool again, it kept so many skiers skiing instead of switching over to snowboarding.  These 2 things really revitalized the sport. If this hadn't happened I don't know where skiing would be, 1998 is when everything changed for the better.
