For skiers that are trying to get their feet underneath them and feel more confident on the slopes the Tecnica Ten.2 75 is great choice. With a more upright and neutral stance women will have more fun and learn more quickly being over the center of the skis. Tecnica was shooting for warmth and comfort with the Ten.2 75's liners, we'd say they did a pretty good job. For skiers with average to wider feet the Ten.2 75 will fit well and provide a good platform to have fun on.
At a flex index of 75 the Ten.2 75 is great for beginners that are confident on greens or the casual intermediate skier. The upper cuff of the boot is adjustable so it can adapt to various leg shapes and calf sizes. An extremely easy boot to put on with a much softer plastic underneath the lower buckles that doesn't restrict entry. For skiers looking for a more relaxed comfortable fit the 102mm last and wool liner will keep you in good spirits from breakfast until apres.
Ultrafit Wool - The heat moldable ultrafit liner fits well out of the box and better after some hot air is applied. Wool surrounds the forefoot and toes for added warmth even if the liners get a little damp from a weekend of skiing.
The Ten.2 series of women's ski boots is a 3 buckle design with a 2 piece shell as opposed to some Dalbello and Full Tilts which are 3 buckle with a 3 piece shell. A 2 piece shell with 3 buckles will be slightly softer than a 2 piece shell with 4 buckles, but it's easier to buckle up -- Score!
Cuff Adjustment - If you've been researching the Ten.2 75 W you may have noticed the 'C.A' which stands for Cuff Adjustment. The cuff can be opened up to accomodate larger calves.
