THE FINE LINE BETWEEN COMFORT AND PERFORMANCE.
If you have a goofed up foot, want a stiffer boot and some good heel hold there is no question that you should throw your feet in a pair of NRGy Pro 3's. Unless you have hyper-sensitive feet you, the 100mm last should feel plenty wide for you unless you have a behemoth 115mm wide foot. Nordica's expertly crafted liners conform to your feet after only a few days of skiing if they weren't heat treated prior to skiing.
The NRGy Pro 3 is ideal for skiers that enjoy skiing aggressively but want some forgiveness. Forgiveness in a ski boot can be a good thing if you are looking to dive into some terrain that is currently above your ability. A nice warm liner and a good fitting shell that performs... If that sounds good to you, add it to the cart and proceed to the checkout.
What's the deal with the Grid marks on the outside of the shell? That's for people like me that customize ski boot shells -- it makes it easier for me to make your ski boots fit better. If you're in Boston and need your Nordica's to fit better, come by!
Forward Flex / Boot Fit
With a 110 flex you'll be able to take your intermediate to advanced skis whereever you would like whenver you like. Slightly softer the NRGy Pro 3 is more forgiving, if you make a mistake from not-perfect technique you won't get punished for it. The forefoot is a slightly more relaxed fit in the NRGy Pro 3 than the Pro 1 due to lower density foams -- ski less than 30 days a season -- no problem.
Cork Fit - The hand stitched liner employs a cork zone around the heel and ankle to create secure fit for the most aggressive skiers.
Buckles
4 Micro-Adjustable Buckles - 4 sleek micro-adjustable buckles keep your foot locked in place.
Additional Awesomeness
Weather Sheild - An integrated overlap system keeps water from leaking into the ski boots, dry feet are warm feet.
Pinned Performance - Take a look at any race boot, you'll notice on the spine of the boot there are bolts marrying the upper and lower cuff together. By doing so the ski boots are more responsive and better suited for expert level skiers that want a precise response.
