Black Crows Vena Cor Skis 2027

$999.00

The Black Crows Vena Cor takes the creative DNA of the Mirus Cor and stretches it into a more versatile, all-mountain package. It still loves carving and playful skiing, but with a longer turn shape, more soft-snow capability, and a higher speed limit.

Carve. Slash. Repeat.

The Vena Cor is proof that Black Crows isn't interested in making ordinary skis.

At first glance, the swallowtail, sharply pointed tip, and progressive shape make it clear this ski shares some DNA with the Mirus Cor. Once you get it on snow, though, the personality is quite different.

Where the Mirus Cor feels like a slalom ski that accidentally wandered into the terrain park, the Vena Cor feels more like a modern all-mountain carver that discovered how much fun it is to slash, pop, and ski creatively.

The biggest difference is the turn shape. The Vena Cor prefers medium-radius turns and a little more speed, making it feel less hyperactive than the Mirus while still maintaining that playful Black Crows personality. It encourages high-edge-angle carving but doesn't demand constant rapid-fire turns. Let it run a little and it rewards you with smooth, energetic arcs that feel natural across a much wider range of terrain.

Despite its carving ability, this isn't a directional frontside ski. The balanced shape, twin-tip-inspired tail, and relatively centered -5 cm mount point give it a freestyle influence that's immediately noticeable. You can ski it from the middle, slash turns on command, butter terrain features, and generally approach the mountain with a more creative mindset than most skis in this category allow.

The Vena Cor also brings noticeably better soft snow performance than the Mirus Cor. The longer platform, increased surface area, and more all-mountain-oriented shape make it a ski that feels comfortable venturing well beyond groomers. Whether you're carving corduroy, bouncing through spring slush, skiing a few inches of fresh snow, or taking laps through the park, it never feels out of place.

What makes the Vena Cor so interesting is that it doesn't force you to choose between carving performance and freestyle freedom. Most skis lean heavily toward one side or the other. The Vena Cor sits right in the middle, delivering enough edge grip and precision to satisfy strong skiers while maintaining the loose, playful feel that makes skiing fun.

It's not a race-inspired carver. It's not a dedicated freestyle ski. It's not a traditional all-mountain ski either.

It's a Black Crows ski in the best possible way: unique, creative, and far more versatile than it has any right to be.
