Chris Davenport skis in these and he also skis on Kastle - Kastle makes some burly skis.  If the the Scarpa Freedom RS can turn a pair of Kastle's they can turn whatever kind of skis you have as long as they don't say WC on them.  The downhill performance on the Freedom RS' is top notch and is in the same league as the Lupo Ti, Pinnacle or Cochise, just in a lighter package and more tour friendly.  The boots are light but still rip, this is what makes the Freedom RS so unique because quite frankly boots that tour this well don't ski that well.  

Forward Flex / Boot Fit

A soft feeling 130 flex when comparing to the gamut of ski boots, but that is expected in this breed of ski boots.  

Liner

Intuition Cross Fit Ride RS Liner - This liner if fully heat moldable. Molding around your entire foot and to all the indentations of the shell.  The result is awesome performance and a fantastic fit that expert skiers demand. 

Buckles

The Scarpa Freedom RS is an overlap shell with 4 buckles.  Skiers that are used to skiing in overlap boots and love the performance

Vibram Mountain Piste Sole - Rockered sole makes walking easier and the burly sole makes navigating around rocks much more enjoyable.
