Flex: 140 // weight: 2472g @ 26.5cm // 96mm last @ 26.5
There may not be a more bad a$$, better fitting boot around! The Head Raptor 140 RS has an adjustable flex index that allows you to choose between 120, 130 and 140. Key the 2 included additional rivets (per boot!) into the spine of the boot to shift it in to full beast mode. 96 mm last/width at size 26.5 sounds narrow, but the Raptor's fit with comfortable precision. In many boots, over-tightening causes pressure points. Head solved that problem ia few years ago in the Raptor RS ski boots. Spine Flex Racing Buckles employ a wire in place of a traditional buckle shaft, which allows the boot shell to maintain its intended ergonomic shape during a strong closure. The boot lugs and lower shell are the product of a single mold, minimizing the percentage of energy loss. The Raptor 140's are serious boots for rippin' skiers. Do yourself a favor and don't rush to the conclusion that they fit like a race boot just because they look like one.

How's the Fit: A precise, narrow fit for sure; but not as crazy as the 96mm last might sound. Very snug on the sides of the foot but not too tight on the instep or on the achilles.
TLDR: Inspired by race boots, but with enough flex and space that an aggressive all-mountain skier with an eye on performance will have a great time.
