While the name is changed, the ski construction remains unchanged from the previous seasons. It's still a groomer-crushing machine with the "Volkl" feel that Volkl fans have come to know and love. The Mantra 88 W is powerful, stable, and confidence-inspiring regardless of how hard or aggressively you're pushing the ski. For a ski this powerful, turn initiation isn't difficult or demanding for more proficient skiers but less experienced skiers may have a harder time as they progress into stronger skiers.
