The Zero G Tour Pro punches above its weight class on the way up, and down.

MOON BOOTS.

The new Tecnica Zero G Tour Pro is a touring-focused boot that is powerful enough to bend and control lighter-weight skis more with precision. Compared to some other boots in this weight class (1280g @ 26.5) the Zero G Tour Pro is one of the best; it packs a huge punch for how light it is. This isn't a boot you'd want to use with heavier, resort-focused skis. This is a boot built for laps in the backcountry, side country, or uphill trails at your local resort. Paired with a lighter ski, you've got a killer setup. The boot has a stated flex of 130 (it's a lightweight boot, so it's not a downhill boot 130), making it responsive, predictable, and smooth in power transfer to skis on the descent. On the uphill side of things, the range of motion is incredibly smooth and easy to use, while the lightweight construction won't hold you back, no matter how long your hike is. There aren't many boots out there that come close to the performance the Zero G Tour Pro offers for a touring boot. This is one of the best boots for good skiers who want a touring boot that won't hold them back.

Bootfitter's notes:

Compared to previous versions of the Tecnica Zero G line, the 24/25 model offers a more generous fit. It's less precise across the instep, feels a touch longer, and the liner is more plush throughout. The goal with these design choices was to allow the Zero G to fit more people, more easily. It hasn't lost any of the important fit characteristics. It's still solid in the heel and offers a good shape through the mid-foot and forefoot -- it's just a more generous fitting low/mid-volume boot.
