Ski boots don't need to be uncomfortable, even for great skiers, being in a powerful high-volume boot will keep you skiing as hard as you want all day while keeping your feet as happy as possible.

HIGH VOLUME, HIGH PERFORMANCE.

The Mach1 HV is a much more responsive ski boot than the old HV; not just because it's a more precise fit through the ankle, but because it is a much better plastic and better-designed shell -- based off the Mach1 MV.  For this season Tecnica has introduced an updated "T-Drive" in the spine of the boot to increase responsiveness and improve power transfer throughout the flex pattern. Just like the rest of the Mach series boots, the HV 130 has a great out-of-the-box fit, it's really great to do custom work on, and is easy to punch. So if 103 mm in the forefoot isn't enough, a good boot shop will be able to get that dialed in for ya. Even though this is a Higher Volume boot, don't let that fool you, this is a very powerful 130 flex ski boot. Capable of steering any ski you'd like and the liner is precise and offers great heel hold for a high-volume fit. Tecnica has done a great job building a high-volume boot with an incredible performance level that you generally only find in lower-volume fits. 

Bootfitter's Notes

The Mach 130 HV is a true high-volume fit, but a denser liner than most high-volume boots gives it enough precision for expert skiers to feel confident in the boot. A firm feel in the heel offers good retention but won't be overbearing for skiers with larger ankles. It's more forgiving on top of the foot than the Mach1 MV 130, but it's not a bucket. The length is a little precise out of the box but it will open up nicely once the liner is molded to your feet. The width is normal for a high-volume boot.
