Tecnica Mach BOA HV 130 Ski Boots 2027
Description
Bootfitter's Notes
New for 2027, the Mach BOA lineup finally gets a 130-flex option. Previously, the highest-performance Mach BOA topped out at a 120, leaving wider-footed expert skiers with fewer options. The Mach BOA 130 fills that gap, bringing true high-end performance to Tecnica's most accommodating boot platform.
Like the Mach BOA 120, this is not a Mach1. While both boots target high-volume feet, the Mach BOA prioritizes comfort. It uses a more forgiving, non-CAS liner and fits noticeably roomier than the Mach1 HV 130, despite both carrying a 103 mm last. If you've found the Mach1 HV just a little too performance-oriented, the Mach BOA offers a more relaxed fit throughout the forefoot, instep, heel, and cuff.
The fit is generous in every direction. The forefoot feels wider than its stated 103 mm last, the instep easily accommodates higher arches, the cuff works well for larger or more athletic calves, and the heel provides secure retention without feeling overly aggressive.
The lower Shell BOA creates an even wrap across the forefoot and instep, reducing pressure points while improving foot hold compared to traditional lower buckles. Double Quick Instep construction and Lift-Lock buckles make the boot exceptionally easy to get on and off, a welcome feature in a high-volume performance boot.
Although comfort is the focus, don't mistake the Mach BOA 130 for a soft cruiser. The 130 flex provides the support needed to confidently drive demanding skis while maintaining a smoother, more forgiving feel than the Mach1 series. It's an ideal option for expert skiers who want top-end performance but simply have wider feet or prefer a less aggressive fit.
If you've always wanted a true 130-flex boot but struggled to fit into lower-volume performance models, the Mach BOA 130 is one of the most compelling new boots of 2027. It combines premium comfort, an accommodating fit, and serious performance in a package that fills a long-overdue gap in the market.

Size Chart
Use the sizing chart below to get a general idea of your ski boot size, but keep in mind that personal shoe habits — like sizing up — can make charts misleading. Ski boots are sized in mondo point, which is simply the length of your foot in centimeters, and there’s no true half sizing — 26.0 and 26.5 are typically the same boot.
