98 mm last boots don't have to be restricting or have pressure points all over the place.  Skiers that find most 100 mm boots too wide and 98's just feel ike they need a lot of work, the anatomical S/Max 120w might be your new best friend, well as far as ski boots goes.  There's a snug fitting heel, with a liner that doesn't feel like it's putting your Achilles in a vice.  The S/Max series of boots is very responsive to heat treatment, between the shell and the liner if you feel like your 80% there, minimal work will get you to a darn near perfect fit.
