This is definitely not a ski that can "do it all," it's a powder ski, but it has some characteristics of an all-mountain ski so it won't feel totally lost on firm terrain or a buffed-out run when the fresh snow runs out.

The Salomon QST series are some of the best soft snow skis out there. The all-new QST X is the ski you need for the deepest days mother nature has to offer. A more than generous rocker profile, 116mm waist width, and playful construction come together to make steep lines and bottomless powder skiing effortless. The QST X floats, slashes, and drifts through deep snow with ease while enough strength underfoot keeps the ski confident if you find some buffed-out terrain or less than desirable snow. The QST X isn't built for piping turns on groomers, but if you find yourself on more firm terrain while you're hunting for fresh snow, it won't feel totally out of place. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better option for skiing powder. Salomon knows how to build a ski for deep days and perfect snow conditions, the QST X is one of our favorite powder skis this season. If you're looking for a powder ski to add to the quiver but still need some all-mountain reliability the QST X is a great choice.
