Salomon QST 100 Skis 2026

$649.95

The 2026 Salomon QST 100 is the most versatile QST yet. It keeps the playful, freeride-inspired feel the series is known for, but adds more power, precision, and edge hold, especially in firmer or variable conditions. Compared to the older QST 99, it’s more stable, more directional, and just more capable overall, without becoming demanding. Ideal for skiers who want a playful ski they can actually trust when conditions get unpredictable.

The QST series has been a staple in the freeride, all-mountain space for nearly a decade. The 4th generation brings big changes, and the new 2026 QST 100 is the most versatile and balanced ski in the lineup. It builds on the QST DNA skiers already love—easy to smear, quick to pivot, and confidence-inspiring in soft snow—but it's now stronger, more capable in firm conditions, and has a much more composed feel at speed.

Compared to the outgoing QST 98, the new QST 100 is noticeably more powerful and directional without becoming overly demanding. It still has a loose, surfy personality in soft snow and trees, but there's now a backbone underfoot that lets you charge when the terrain opens up. The ski arcs a cleaner, more predictable turn on trail and feels more stable in variable or chopped-up snow. That’s a big win for skiers who want one ski that doesn’t fall apart when conditions get rough.

Where previous QSTs could feel vague at higher speeds or on firmer groomers, the QST 100 has real edge hold and confidence—enough that East Coast skiers or those who see more mixed snow conditions will finally have a 100mm QST that doesn't need a powder day to feel at home. The shape, sidecut, and layup have all been reworked to add precision and stability while keeping the ski approachable for a wide range of skier types.

Whether you're slashing turns in the trees, blasting through crud, or just looking for a ski that’s playful without being flimsy, the QST 100 brings a refreshed energy and performance ceiling to one of the most loved skis in the category. It's still a freeride ski at heart, but now with a gear that lets you push it redline when you want to.

Who is this for? Skiers on the hunt for a one ski quiver that is more optimized for softer snow but can hang on hardpack
Who is this not for? If you want a carving ski you're on the wrong page. If you want a true powder ski this is also not the page.
