Ok, what I said up there isn't exactly true, "AL" doesn't stand for awesome and lightweight, "AL" stands for aluminum, because the chassis is made of aluminum. However, that aluminum chassis does make for a pretty awesome and lightweight binding. With a flex that's just a little stiffer than medium, these bindings are gonna work for a wide range of snowboarders. They offer sufficient responsiveness without being overly demanding or rigid, making them ideal for riders who are looking to rapidly progress this season. The best part of bindings in the mid-flex category like the AL-6 is they can work for beginners, intermediates, and even experienced riders who aren't looking for the stiffest and most stable bindings. The highback exhibits vertical stiffness to provide power, yet it maintains lateral flexibility for a forgiving and comfortable feel. This design allows for easy turn initiation and helps make the board feel more responsive to your lower body. The flex pattern is also awesome for riders who enjoy park riding or getting creative all over the hill. The AL-6 is a versatile all-mountain binding here to make any snowboard setup complete.
