The Nordica Unleashed 98 continues to be one of our favorite skis in the entire Nordica lineup because it refuses to fit into one category.

Yes, it's a twin tip.

Yes, it has freestyle DNA.

But don't mistake it for a soft park ski.

The Unleashed 98 has enough metal underfoot to give it a smooth, damp ride that feels surprisingly composed when speeds pick up. It carves far better than most skis in this category, holds an edge on firm snow, and stays quiet when conditions get rough. At the same time, it's loose enough to slash, pivot, butter, and throw sideways whenever the terrain calls for it.

That's what makes this ski special.

A lot of brands promise a ski that's playful and stable. Very few actually pull it off.

The Unleashed 98 does.

It's equally happy skiing switch through the park, launching side hits, weaving through tight trees, or laying over carved turns on the groomers. The flex has enough support that you can trust it at speed, but it's never so stiff that it feels like work. Whether you have a race background, a freestyle background, or you've never skied either, the Unleashed 98 somehow manages to appeal to all of them.
