A great fit for average feet and skiers who want a forgiving flex as they work to become better skiers.

WHAT A NICE TIME.

The Nordica SpeedMachine 85 is built for less experienced skiers, lighter-weight skiers, or those who are making a jump from rental boots into their first pair of good ski boots. At an 85 flex, the boot has a smooth and forgiving feel allowing the skier to feel more comfortable as they learn to balance on skis. The lateral stiffness is great to make turning skis feel more effortless and predictable. Also, the SpeedMachine 85 is incredibly warm, comfortable and easy to put on. What else could you ask for as you dive into a new ski boot as you continue to progress as a skier?

Bootfitter's notes:

The SpeedMachine 85 is snug in the heel but comfortable. The liner has a more plush feel to help keep your feet as happy as possible. The width is true to a mid-volume fit but the plush liner makes it feel a little more generous than advertised, but not sloppy. Pressure on top of the foot and instep is average for a mid-volume boot. Length is generous in the toes but not enough to worry about having to size down. If you want more precision and power check out the SpeedMachine 95 or 105, also from Nordica.
