Chef's Kiss.

he Santa Ana 82 is the narrowest ski in Nordica's Santa Ana collection, but don't mistake it for a traditional frontside ski.

It still carries the freeride DNA that makes the Santa Ana lineup so popular.

At 82 mm underfoot, this ski loves groomers. It rolls effortlessly from edge to edge, grips confidently on firm snow, and has the kind of smooth, quiet ride that's become a Nordica trademark. Whether you're making quick short-radius turns or opening things up into longer arcs, the Santa Ana 82 feels composed and predictable.

Where it separates itself from many skis in this category is its personality.

Thanks to a little extra rocker and taper, it doesn't feel locked into every turn. It releases easily when you want it to, navigates bumps with surprising confidence, and won't shy away from ducking off the side of the trail for a few fresh turns.

Under the hood, Nordica's Energy Ti construction combines a lively wood core with their Terrain-Specific Metal laminate and Pulse Core technology to create a ski that's both energetic and incredibly smooth. You get the stability and edge hold you'd expect from a premium carving ski without sacrificing the playful feel that makes the Santa Ana collection so much fun.

Compared to the wider Santa Ana 87 and 92, the 82 is quicker edge-to-edge and noticeably happier on firm snow. If your skiing is primarily on groomers with the occasional venture into bumps or light off-piste terrain, this is the ski we'd point you toward.

Who is this for? Skiers who spend most of their day on groomers but enjoy bumps and occasional off-trail skiing.
Who is this not for? Skiers looking for a wider, all-mountain-focused ride (look at the Santa Ana 87 or 92).
