The Liberty Origin 96 is made to go anywhere on the mountain and beyond. Whether it’s cold February smoke, or sloppy May granular, the key to success is staying agile. SpeedCore Construction provides high strength and stiffness at an awesomely maneuverable weight, thanks to alternating Bamboo and Poplar laminates. Liberty’s Bamboo Backbone fortifies the core of the ski along the edges in order to dampen the straight-line ride. All the speed you can handle is made available by a PTex 2000 base, which is as durable as it is slick. A QuadAxial Fiberglass weave is the source of the Origin’s smoothly energetic feel in transition. Heat treated steel, bigger anchors and a broader overall profile make the Origin’s HRC 48 Edges grip frozen snow in addition to serving as a roll cage for the ski’s core. Liberty Skis consistently slays it graphic wise, and by employing Polyurethane runners between the top sheet and fiberglass weave, they strive to ensure the long term aesthetic appeal of your sweet new planks.
