If you are at an industry ski event, you'll see a ton of XT Free 130's on all the tester's feet.  If you want a boot that's a little more forgiving but with the same fit and precision the XT Free 120 is your meal ticket.  The XT Free replaces the XT Freetour 110, a bit stiffer, little more conservative of a color and it the XT Free 120 has Lange's Dual Core technology.  Dual core is a construction process that is exclusive to Lange (they developed it)and it allows the boot to have better foot wrapping so it's more comfortable but without sacrificing performance.  The Dual Core injection process actually improves performance, so you get the best of both worlds which is awesome for skiers that want to do a fair amount of hiking but still be able to rip on the down.  Lange's XT Free 120 is an awesome all-mountain boot.

How's the Fit: The XT Free 120 has a more relaxed feeling liner than the RX 120, not quite as much grab around the achilles.
