The Lange Shadow 95 LV is for progressing skiers with narrow feet or those who like a more precise-fitting ski boot. This isn't an uncomfortable low-volume fit while also offering more performance than you'd typically expect from a 95 flex ski boot. The Shadow series is one the more exciting new boots for the 23/24 season.

A surprisingly strong 95 flex boot for intermediate skiers with narrow feet.
The Lange Shadow 95 LV is a great boot for beginner/intermediate skiers with narrow feet. The Shadow is a brand new boot for this season and it replaced the Lange RX series. The Shadow boot is a major upgrade in fit and performance over the Lange RX. The Shadow 95 has a surprising amount of power and performance for being a 95 flex boot. This boot punches slightly above it's weight class as far as responsiveness and power go, without being unfriendly to less experienced skiers. The Shadow is great for skiers making the jump from rental boots or more experienced intermediates who are looking for a boot that isn't overly stiff but can still drive skis really well. The Shadow 95 is also an easy boot to put on and take off compared to some other low-volume boots on the market and it's warmer than some other boots in the category as well.
The Lange Shadow 95 LV has a low-volume fit for skiers with narrow feet or skiers who like a more locked-in feel. The liner isn't overly aggressive anywhere though so it still maintains a solid level of comfort, even for a low-volume boot. The heel and Achilles area are snug, but not firm, and small pressure points will come out of this area once the liner is molded to your feet. Length will feel short on the end of your toes when the boot is brand new, this will feel much better once the liner is molded and broken in. The instep is true for a low-volume boot but a bit more spacious on top of the foot, making this a good option even for skiers with higher arches.
The Lange Shadow 95 LV is one of the higher-performing women's boots in a flex that makes sense for less experienced skiers. It has a fit that is precise where it needs to be for narrow feet and generous where recreational skiers want it to be.
