THE SWEET SPOT.

The Lange Shadow 120 LV is a low-volume boot for intermediate to expert skiers looking for a precise fit and awesome performance. The Shadow series replaced the Lange RX series a couple seasons ago, all we need to say is we don't miss the RX; the Shadow is better on all fronts. For this seaons Lange improved the liner making it more firm and anatomical without sacrificing any of the fit aspects we like about the boot.

The 120 flex Shadow is powerful and precise enough to drive skis without ever skipping a beat while being a little more forgiving and comfortable than the Shadow 130. The Shadow offers good rebound, responsiveness, and stiffness to send energy to your skis quickly and with very little work.

The goal of a ski boot is to make your skiing as efficient as possible, the Shadow does exactly that. If you're a progressing intermediate looking to up your game on the slopes, the Shadow 120 LV is a perfect boot to do that. If you're an advanced skier but you don't need to be in the stiffest boots out there the Shadow 120 still offers a ton of top-end performance even for more aggressive skiers. 

Bootfitter's Notes

The Lange Shadow 120 LV combines a plush liner with a more narrow shell shape. It's precise in the heel and mid-foot while still being appropriate in width around the forefoot. Length can feel short out of the box but this will subside after a ski day or two. Instep is on the more generous side of things when compared to some other low volume options.

Ski boots are sized in mondo point, which is simply the length of your foot in centimeters, and there’s no true half sizing — 26.0 and 26.5 are typically the same boot.
