The Ultime Black is exactly how it sounds, ALL-TIME! Lacroix's creation of the Ultime sets the bar for high-end, premier ski construction and design. With only 100 being produced for the 2016/2017 season, the Ultime ski is about as exclusive as it gets in the ski business or any business for that matter. Built by taking the highest quality construction materials on the planet and then putting them through the most technically rigorous and precise construction process known to man. The Lacroix Ultime is a ski engineering masterpiece. One of the processes that separates the Ultime from the pack is the LX Force Treatment. Lacroix takes dual layered titanium alloy and encases the core for a upper and under metal sandwich structure. This process gives these works-of-art an unrivaled flex and feel. The Ultime Black is truly the "cream of the cream" of skis.

Construction

LX Sandwich Structure - A slimmer, lighter, bomb-proof construction. Lacroix takes a full wood core and sandwiches it with metal and carbon/kevlar fibers. The metal enclosure construction provides feel, flex and torsional strength that is unrivaled in the ski industry.

LX Straight Sidewall - Lacriox builds their skis with a sandwich vertical sidewall design. This design is the absolute best for transmitting energy to the ski's edges. This gives the skier optimal edge grip on any terrain or snow condition.

LX Force Treatment - This is the crème de la crème of titanium treatments. Lacroix treats the skis with their already insane LX Titanium treatment and adds this additional "Force" step. This step gives the titanium a deep black finish and increases the metal's properties to the extreme!

Core

LX VIC - Variable Inertia Core - Lacroix builds their skis with a full tip-to-tail wood core that is wrapped with a combination of metal, carbon and kevlar. This is meant to provide the skis with exceptional stability, energy and response.

Titane, Kevlar, Carbon - Lacroix perfectly blends a combination of wood, titane, kevlar and carbon to provide to most exhilarating experience you will ever have on a pair of skis!

Shape

All Mountain Rocker - Lacroix's All Mountain Rocker design features a rockered tip with camber under binding. The tip rocker allows for super smooth turn initiation and seemless edge control, while the camber underfoot gives the skier exceptional edge grip and stability.

Lacroix's Flight Case - Each Ultime Black ski comes with it's very own custom built Flight Case. The case looks awesome and is incredibly durable. In side the case, you also get a pair of adjustable ski poles and custom made Lacroix ski bag.

P-Tex Electra Base - This sintered base is charged with particles of graphite to ensure the smoothest, lowest friction gliding base money can buy! 

Binding

The Lacroix Ultime Black Skis are equipped with a Salomon system ski binding that is integrated directly onto the skis. These ski bindings are designed to make the ski feel extremely quick edge-to-edge and provide maximum power transfer out of every turn.
