Traditional camber provides reliable edge hold and plenty of energy coming out of turns, while the beefed-up layup gives the board a planted, confidence-inspiring feel when the terrain gets rough.

K2's Spectral Braid construction is a big part of that feel. By independently tuning longitudinal and torsional flex, the board stays powerful underfoot without becoming overly demanding from edge to edge.
