Jones TwinCraft Snowboard 2027

The Jones TwinCraft is the perfect intro into slightly less traditional snowboards.

There's always going to be that "most versatile" all-mountain board out there, but if you've learned what your favorite parts of snowboarding are and they happen to be slashing every patch of soft snow and popping off every side hit, meet the TwinCraft.

At first glance, it looks familiar. It still has a twin shape, still feels comfortable under your feet, and still encourages the playful riding style most twin riders already enjoy.

The extra width and volume-shifted design immediately change the way the board rides. Instead of sinking into softer snow, it naturally wants to plane across the top, making every slash, pillow, and wind lip feel easier to find and even more satisfying to ride away from.

What we we're excited to find after riding it is that Jones didn't ask you to give up the personality of a normal twin to get there.

The TwinCraft still feels balanced in the air, still encourages side hits, and still wants to pop off anything that looks remotely launchable. It simply adds a level of float and looseness that most traditional twins can't match.

That makes it an incredibly fun board on just about any soft snow day. Fresh snow, spring slush, chopped-up leftovers—it has a knack for making the mountain feel creative instead of repetitive.

We wouldn't totally rule it out for firmer conditions though. If you're the type of rider who isn't riding as fast as possible but instead works your way down the mountain via finding features all along the way, the TwinCraft is right up your alley. 

We also think it's one of the easiest ways for riders to branch out from a traditional all-mountain twin. It still feels familiar enough that you don't need to completely change the way you ride, but different enough that you'll quickly discover why so many riders have fallen in love with more specialized shapes.

The TwinCraft isn't designed to be the newest do it all board. It's built for the rider that knows what they like, and wants a familiar enough board that is purpose built for making that style of riding as fun as possible.
