The slicing and dicing speed arrow.

INSIDE YOU THERE ARE TWO WOLVES: THEY BOTH WANNA SEND IT.

The Jones Storm Wolf has been one of my go-to boards this season and perhaps one of the more surprising standouts we've tested in the past few years. At first glance, you're probably thinking the same thing I was...looks like it would be great on a pow day but not much else. I've had the chance to ride the Storm Wolf in conditions ranging from challenging hardpack days to awesome powder days and it’s left me impressed every time. While it is very directional, it's more versatile than expected.

Camber underfoot paired with a stiffer and more aggressive flex gives the board all the power and grip you need on the firmer days. That stiffness is found all the way through the tail letting you really lean into a carve with confidence. When the snow gets good or you want to venture into some tighter terrain, the board feels nimble enough because you can easily break the tail free for some slashes or shorter turns. The long nose lets the board float easily through soft snow but is solid enough to hold up on some high-speed groomers. The Storm Wolf is ready to howl and is a seriously rippin' snowboard.

Who is this board for? Intermediate to advanced riders who prefer a stiff board and don’t mind a unique shape.

Who isn't this board for? New riders, park rats, and riders who like a twin board or something close to it.

The Test Crew

We test products year round in order to curate the best gear for you.

A directional freeride swallowtail that blends the all-mountain versatility with an aggressive flex pattern. Great for hard-chargers who like to slash all over the mountain, ride the side of the trail, and sniff out soft snow wherever they can find it.
