A board that can do it all without being powerful and demanding. The focus is ease of use while still being able to tackle the whole mountain.

DANIEL BOONE'S BOARD OF CHOICE.

Strap into the Jones Frontier and the possibilities are endless. Built to be a daily driver for a wide range of riding styles, this board does it all. It’s a mid-flex, directional board with a floaty, freeride nose matched with a freestyle tail. It can rip groomers, holds up well in soft snow, and can do everything in between. The Frontier’s medium flex and camber shape allows enough stability to lay down some smooth carves on hardpack but isn’t so stiff that it feels overly demanding at lower speeds or in tighter terrain. Because it’s not the stiffest board, some more aggressive riders might find it lacks confidence at higher speeds, if you’re looking for something a little more powerful, check out the Jones Aviator or the Jones Flagship.

The Frontier has a playful feel and is more comfortable at medium to low speeds. If you like laying down medium to short-radius carves, it’s right in your wheelhouse. If all you want to do is go pedal to the medal and make huge turns, you might be happier with something stiffer. That playful feel makes the board feel more manageable at low speeds than a stiff board so it’s not as much work in tighter terrain. It also makes the board approachable for all skill levels. The Frontier is perfect for anyone who wants a versatile board that won't feel like a lot of work at lower speeds.

Who is this board for? Progressing riders who want a board that’s approachable but won’t feel like they’re growing out of as they improve, or advanced riders who don’t mind a more forgiving feel.

Who isn't this board for? Hard-chargers who don’t like a board that can flex easily.
