The Helly Hansen Ridge LIFALOFT 3/4 Insulator Pant is a smart solution for skiers who run cold but don’t want to add another bulky full-length layer underneath their ski pants.
60g LIFALOFT insulation adds a surprising amount of warmth for its weight, while the cropped length stops above your ski boots so there’s no extra material competing for space around your lower leg. Grid fleece and stretch panels improve breathability and mobility, making these much more comfortable to actually ski in than simply throwing another pair of pants underneath your outerwear.
Full-length side zippers are the other big win. You can put them on or take them off without removing your ski boots, making it easy to adjust your layering as temperatures change.
