Head Vector Evo 110 Ski Boots 2018

FORM FITTING BUT FORGIVING

The Head Vector Evo 110 ski boot is a brilliant option for athletic beginners through advanced intermediate level skiers. An adjustable flex index of 105/95 acts as a shock absorber, while providing the support required for laying down tracks on all types of terrain. Head's Tri INJected frame gives you rigidity in the most essential areas of the boot for responsive turning. In the cuff, softer density plastic offers the convenience of effortless entry, and removal. At a last (width) of 101 millimeters, the Vector Evo 110 provides a comfortable, performance oriented fit. Double Canting and Rear Support Tuning allow you to refine the fit in order to fulfill your unique combination of needs. Replaceable boot soles keep you upright on stairs and ensure the enduring integrity of the marriage between your boot lug and any din binding.

Forward Flex / Boot Fit

At an adjustable flex index of 110 or 100, the Head Vector Evo 110 ski boot is appropriate for intermediate to advanced skiers. 110 flex is enough boot for able carvers, providing both the forward and lateral support required for hard surface edge sets. A 101 millimeter last makes the Vector 105 ski boot super wearable without giving it all away in terms of support.

Liner

Perfect Fit S Liner - This is a fully heat moldable liner. Multiple densities of foam create a feel that lets you know that the Vector Evo 110 ski boot has your back when you break the sound barrier, but also that it isn't going to crush your toes or ankles in the lift line. Through the boot liner, energy is transferred from your legs to your skis. Efficient transfer occurs through high density foam. Your toes prefer a little wiggle room and a softer density foam. Why shouldn't you have both.

Buckles

4 Spine Tech Buckles - Of course, these are micro adjustable buckles, an essential part of achieving a fit that is as unique as your foot. Spine Tech buckles take fit a step further with the incorporation of a hinge function. In most ski boots, the result of a strong closure is a compromised fit. This is the most common cause of pressure point pain. By integrating a flex point in the buckle, Head is able to engineer boots which maintain their intended, ergonomic shape, even when aggressively cranked down.

Additional Awesomeness

Tri INJected Frame / Easy Entry Shell Design - The Head Vector 105 ski boot goes on and off easily thanks to increased malleability in the non essential upper boot. Adequate support is brought by Head's Tri INJected frame technology, which gives you super rigid plastic in the lower for efficient energy transfer, and a softer density upper cuff for easy entry and removal.

Read Support Tuning - Adjust your forward lean angle quickly and easily

Double Canting - Misaligned boot cuffs increase the likelihood of edge catches, and can make standing on your skis altogether uncomfortable. Don't tolerate this kind of pain - Bring your boots in to The Ski Monster for a custom canting assessment and adjustment.

40 mm Velcro Strap - Disperses the force of turns and landings over a greater area of your shin for reduced pressure or shin bang
