Fischer The Curv Noize Skis w/ RC4 Z13 Freeflex GW Bindings 2027
f the Curv GTX is the luxury sports sedan, the RC4 Curv Noize is the track car. They're cut from the same cloth, but the RC4 is more focused, more precise, and rewards a skier who's willing to stay on the gas all day.
Coming in 4 mm narrower underfoot than the GTX, the RC4 transitions from edge to edge noticeably quicker. It has a more connected feel to the snow and delivers a level of precision that's hard to match outside of true race skis. Every movement feels immediate, making this ski incredibly satisfying for skiers who enjoy driving the front of the boot and carving with purpose.
Like the GTX, Fischer's Noize Control construction keeps the ski remarkably smooth and quiet on firm snow, while the Carbon Bridge and performance-oriented construction provide outstanding edge hold and stability. The difference is that the RC4 asks a little more from you. It prefers to be driven rather than skied passively, and the harder you push it, the more it comes alive.
Despite its race-inspired personality, it never feels harsh or punishing. It still has plenty of energy coming out of the turn, but compared to the GTX, everything feels a bit tighter, more direct, and more surgical. If you're the type of skier who enjoys making perfect arcs and chasing the cleanest carve on the mountain, you'll appreciate the added precision.
The tradeoff is versatility. The narrower platform and more focused personality make it less forgiving in chopped-up conditions than the GTX. It'll certainly handle variable snow when needed, but this ski is happiest on firm, freshly groomed terrain where it can showcase just how incredibly accurate it is.
If your priority is carving performance above everything else and you enjoy an engaged, forward-driving style, the RC4 Curv Noize is one of the most rewarding frontside skis you can buy.
