Fischer The Curv GT 85 is a ski built for crushing groomers. It's powerful, stable, and guaranteed to make any groomer day a blast. A ton of energy and a surprising amount of agility make this an awesome ski for frontside fanatics. It feels precise on edge and offers unrivaled grip that ensures confidence and allows you to push the ski to the limit. Short and medium-sized turns are its favorite, but you can let them run if you like longer higher-speed turns. An 85mm waist width allows for some variability in terrain and conditions if the corduroy is tough to find. Compared to more narrow carving skis, the GT 85 is more capable in chopped-up snow or heavy wet snow and isn't easily deflected due to the shape of the ski.  For a ski that offers so much power and stability, this isn't a "difficult" ski, regardless of ability level. Expert skiers will be able to access all the performance the GT 85 has to offer while less experienced skiers will still find the GT 85 to be intuitive and easy enough to balance on. The GT 85 isn't really an "all-mountain" ski, it loves the front side and groomed trails but can handle some variety in terrain if the conditions are less than desirable. If you want the perfect tool for icy ski days and slicing fresh corduroy this is one of the best, if not the best, in the category.
