The most nimble of the Ranger bunch, the Ranger 92 Ti packs a punch that the 90 Ti did not.  The Ranger 90 Ti carved really well for it's shape and profile, the 92 does it better.  Carvability is achieved with edge to edge metal laminate that the 90 didn't have.  This is also the reason for the slight weight increase.  By the 5th skin up for the day you might feel it a bit more in your hips, but the descent is going to be sweet.  The 92 Ti is more descent friendly and better for typically East Coast conditions, still has the float you demand, however.
