Faction Prodigy 2 Skis 2027

The Prodigy 2 has been a fan favorite for a long time, and it's pretty easy to understand why.

At 98 mm underfoot, it's right in the sweet spot for an everyday all-mountain ski. There's enough width to have fun when the snow gets soft, but it's still quick enough to rip groomers, ski bumps, and spend the entire day in the park if that's where you end up.

The full poplar core gives the ski a true medium flex. It's supportive enough underfoot that you can stand on it and carve a surprisingly good turn, but the tips and tails have enough give to make the ski easy to butter, slash, and move around.

It's soft where you want it and strong where you need it.

Butter a slushy roller, hit a side hit, ski switch through the park, then point it down a groomer and actually carve. The Prodigy 2 doesn't force you into one style of skiing.

Compared to the Prodigy 1, the 2 gives you noticeably more all-mountain capability. The 1 is quicker and more park-focused at 88 mm, while the 2 adds better float and more confidence in soft and chopped-up snow without losing the freestyle personality that makes the Prodigy series so much fun.

Hardpack, soft snow, moguls, trees, park laps — it handles pretty much everything short of a legitimate powder day.

If you're looking for one twin tip to ski every day and don't want to decide between an all-mountain ski and a park ski, the Prodigy 2 is really tough to beat.
