Faction Dancer 89 Ti Skis 2027

The Dancer 89 Ti is the sweet spot in Faction's completely redesigned Dancer lineup and one of those skis that was way more fun than we expected it to be.

We got on it this year and loved it.

At 89 mm underfoot, the ski hooks into a turn incredibly well. There's a ton of grip, it feels calm at speed, and the two thin sheets of Titanal do exactly what you want them to do — keep the ski quiet and planted without making it feel like a tank.

Then the poplar core gives it a bunch of energy. There's a lot of pep coming out of a turn, and the ski feels much lighter on your feet than you'd expect from something with this much grip and stability.

But the groomers weren't the part that sold us.

The Dancer 89 Ti is shockingly good in bumps and trees.

Faction added more rocker and taper for 2027, along with more rise in the tail, and it makes this ski incredibly easy to move around. The tail releases when you want it to, the ski is quick enough to make last-second direction changes, and you're not fighting two sheets of metal every time the terrain gets tight.

That's what separates it from a lot of skis in this category.

You still get that damp, confident metal-ski feel when you're standing on the gas, but you can take it into bumps, trees, chop, and technical terrain without wishing you had something lighter and easier underneath you.

If you want a ski that can rip groomers in the morning and then spend the rest of the day bouncing through bumps and trees, the Dancer 89 Ti is really, really good.
