Short turns, long turns, straight-lining, tree runs, hard snow, soft snow. The Ripstick 94w actually crushes it all.

NOT JUST A GOOD SKI, ONE OF THE BEST.

The Ripstick 94w remains at the front of the pack, coming at us unchanged aside from a new graphic for the 2024 season. Every year we're blown away at just how much we love this ski. It's so light and easy to ski that the natural expectation is that it's going to lack performance when you try to push it. This isn't the case with the 94w, it's actually the opposite. Just like every ski in the Ripstick family, this thing rips. It strikes the perfect balance of easygoing without losing the ability to perform. It initiates a turn effortlessly and has no problem holding an edge on hard pack. It's not the most powerful ski, but that's why it's so easy to ski at any level. It wants to pivot, make quick carves, and bounce in and out of turns. It's compliant, predictable, and easy to balance on. This doesn't mean it's not capable of some high-level ripping, but skiers whose top priority is speed and long-radius carves might want to look at a burlier option. If that's you, good news, the Ripstick 94w Black is the same exact ski built with some more oomph to it. If that's not you (most skiers, let's be honest), you'll love the versatility of the Ripstick 94w. It's awesome on groomers, it's a joy to ski through the trees, and 94mm of waist width is gonna be more than enough for most powder days. Oh, and it's light enough to throw a touring binding on if you're building a touring set-up. We have nothing negative to say about the Elan Ripstick 94w and you won't either.

PS. One of our testers Kara, former US Ski team --- this is one of her favorite skis.

Who's the Ripstick 94w for? Skiers who want a ski that CRUSHES off-piste, soft snow, and is easy to ski, but also want something that more than holds its own if they're trying to lay down some carves on harder snow.

Who isn't the Ripstick 94w for? Skiers whose main priorities are stability, power, and carving ability and nothing else.

Recommended Binding: Marker Squire ID with 100 mm brake
