One of the most hyped boots for 2018 - 2019 season. Eric Hjorleifson, aka Hoji, and the boot engineers over at Dynafit have been working on this design for quite some time (around 4 years). The project began as a Frankenstein riff on the Vulcan, with a goal to improve the skiing and walking performance. The true innovation comes in the form of the Hoji Lock system that combines the walk mechanism, top buckle, and power strap into one convenient lever. Hike to ski transitions are much easier in this boot because you don’t even have to take your gloves off, just flip one lever and go. The pivot points on the cuff are in a line with each other to aid the range of motion and improve the durability of the hard plastic bushings. The speed nose of the boot saves weight and makes clicking into tech bindings easier. This boot is compatible with the Salewa Cramp-in System to make crampons a breeze even without a toe lug.

How's the Fit: The snuggest fitting heel that's 103 in the forefoot, comparable to a 130 Lange LV or Nordica Pro Machine as far as the heel pocket goes.
