The trouble with ski packs is trying to pick out the perfect size. Small packs are great for day trips; they are lightweight and low bulk, but they can't hold much more than your skins and a granola bar. A larger bag can hold everything from your avy gear to a few days worth of provisions but is a bit much for a day tour or cruising around a large resort.
