A directional, all-mountain, camber shape that's engineered with a lightweight construction that rips way harder than it should. The weight of the board feels like it will sacrifice performance, but it doesn't. The Mega Death is confident all over the mountain and takes zero effort to turn.

Till Mega Death do us part.
Unsurprisingly, the Capita Mega Death is among the best of the best. You're not going to name a snowboard the Mega Death and make it suck. This is one of the lightest, smoothest rides you can find. It's a medium-stiff, all-mountain board that wants to explore the whole mountain. An incredibly poppy and energetic feel makes it a sick option for riders who like to dip off-trail, shred the woods, and look for jumps and drops. Its lightweight feel makes it feel ridiculously nimble between your feet, so steering it through tight terrain feels easy and controlled. It's not the stiffest board out there, but it holds up on groomed terrain. If bombing groomers and aggressive riding is the only thing you're interested in, there are stiffer better options. The Mega Death is good, but not great when it comes to high speeds stability. The board is stiffer in the tip and tail than it is between your feet, giving it a forgiving feel torsionally that's less noticeable at high speeds or in wider carves. When you start picking up speed, it's stiff enough that it won't chatter, and a camber shape will keep you locked in on harder snow. The minute you strap into the Mega Death, you can just tell it's built diffo. It's built with probably the best base in snowboarding, making the ride smoother and ensuring increased durability. The fact that it's so light but maintains such high performance is truly an anomaly.
Who's this board for? Riders who want the Rolls Royce of snowboards.
Who's this board not for? Riders who only care about high-speed stability.
