If you look at the general outline of the Spur when the skis are next to one and other, they resemble a surf board – that’s where Blizzard got the idea from, straight up. The asymmetrical Blizzard Spur has a 26 m sidecut on the outside and a 30 m sidecut on the inside – similar to the Marksman or Ripstick series. The shorter radius on the uphill edge keeps the skis from feeling like they’re getting hung up on steep terrain especially in variable snow.
Full Sidewall - A full Sandwich Sidewall construction provides unrivaled edge hold, as well as superior edge control and durability.
Full Wood - A full wood core delivers energetic snow feel and hard charging stability.
Flip Core Natural Rocker - Other manufacturers have to be bend rocker profiles into their skis. Blizzard presses the Cochise with a flipped wood core. By doing this, they are creating an upside down ski! This keeps the skis core fully intact, giving it unparalleled energy and integrity.
Rocker Tip & Tail with a Flat Zone Underfoot - Surfy feel through powder, catch-free tip and tail, super smooth edge control and solid edge hold directly underfoot.
The Blizzard Spur does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, freeride etc.). Be sure the release settings will work for your particular activity and ability. Questions about what's best for you, contact an expert at TheSkiMonster.com.
