Groomers? yes. Bumps? yes. Tree runs? oh yes. Aprés? obvi. The Sheeva is always down.
The Blizzard Sheeva 10 was a favorite among our testers this season and a huge upgrade over the previous version of the Blizzard Sheeva. This is a great ski for skiers looking for one ski that can truly conquer the entire mountain. Skiers with a more playful style who spend time in softer snow out west (or on the east coast when it does snow) will more than enjoy the Sheeva 10. It's maneuverability is unreal, making trips through the trees or bumps a breeze but when it's time to open it up on groomers the Sheeva 10 can more than hang. If you're a harder charging skier the Sheeva 10 feels stout enough underfoot to handle higher speeds and big carves with ease. Disclaimer; just becuase the Sheeva 10 can carve doesn't mean it's a powerful carving ski this is a more playful ski that has enough frontside DNA to keep you confident when the terrain is more firm and you're skiing more aggressively. Metal and fibergrlass keep the Sheeva calm, cool, and collected if the soft snow is hard to find or it's just a banger groomer day. For a ski this wide it's impressive how well they perform on groomers and in turns. In soft snow or technical terrain the Sheeva is nimble and quick edge to edge without ever feeling nervous or unpredictable when the conditions are less than desirable. This will be a really tough ski to beat in the wider waisted all mountain category.
Who is this ski for? Skiers who like a nimble, playful ski that don't want to sacrifice hard snow performance. It can hang on groomer and it shines in techical terrain and bopping around on the side of the trail.
Who isn't this ski for? People who don't like to have fun or skiers who want a ski that's built for crushing groomers and only groomers. This isn't a race ski or a powder ski, it does an awesome job everywhere in between.
We test products year round in order to curate the best gear for you.
Wide enough to handle softer, deeper snow while being strong enough to be skied aggressively and offer a solid feel on groomers. The Sheeva pivots on a dime, is easy to balance on and looks good too. One of our favorite, more playful, all mountain skis ov
