Black Crows Justis Skis 2024

A ski that is just as capable on trail as it is off. 100mm wide with a fair amount of rocker keeps the Justis nimble; the titanal to keep it composed. This is a really well rounded ski. It can arc a mean turn on a groomer while being maneuverable enough in tight trees to keep you confident.

The Justis is for skiers that really do ski everywhere. Groomers are no issue, soft snow is a blast, tight trees and steeps are easy. Win, win, win.

Black Crows is making some waves in the all-mountain ski category. The Justis and the Serpo are built by Elan Skis, and they really know how to build em. The Justis is 100mm underfoot so it generally likes softer snow and tight terrain but it's also a beast on groomers. It doesn't quite "knife" turns like a more narrow ski, but it can more than hold its own on hard pack. The titanal underfoot keeps this ski stable and confident at high speeds without feeling demanding and it still feels lively/energetic adding to the agility this ski has on trail or off. In tight terrain, the Justis is quick underfoot and incredibly easy to pivot and swing around. The ski's waist width and rocker profile allows for some float but doesn't feel too loose or twitchy. Blast it over groomers, rip it through the trees, and bounce it through the bumps. The Justis is as down to adventure as you are.

Who is this ski for? Skiers who explore a wide variety of terrain and experience a variety of conditions. The Justis does it all.

Who isn't this ski for? Skiers looking for a more specialized ski for groomers or for technical terrain. There are skis that carve better and skis that float/pivot better. The Justis does both more than well enough for skiers looking for a one ski quiver.

The Test Crew

We test products year round in order to curate the best gear for you.

Not many skis do everything well; the Justis is one of them. It's stable and powerful on a groomer without being slow or demanding in more technical terrain. It's quiet at high speed without being difficult at low speeds. One ski quivers are possible.
