A lot of camber for a 109 mm waisted ski and a poplar core that gives you a consistent feel with a lot of life.  Consistency in feel is crucial as you hurl yourself down the unknown, being able to predict how your skis are going to react makes it easier to tackle the technical terrain that requires a soul built for sending.  This is what we really like about Black Crows Skis especially the Corvus -- it's predictable and nimble.  It's powerful feel underfoot gives you the confidence that's needed when the snow is sub-par and enough rocker and waist width to give you awesome float.  The Corvus is a really versatile ski for 109 mm.
